AMIS 2023 / CONFERENCE FEE

The regular conference fee of €200 per participant will include attendance of all conference sessions, the conference bag, all conference materials, lunches and coffee breaks, and participation at the Gala Dinner. Doctoral students benefit from a special fee of €100. PhD holder academics affiliated to AFER (Romanian Association of Economic Faculties) universities enjoy a €100 discount from the €200 fee. PhD students affiliated to AFER universities will pay a reduced fee of €50.

The participation fee is to be paid by all attending participants. If a paper has 2 coauthors, and only one participates in the conference, only the participating author needs to pay and register for the conference, as per the above conditions. If both authors are intending participants, they both need to pay the conference fee and subsequently register for the conference. If one author has two papers that he/she intends to present at the conference, he/she only needs to pay one conference fee.

All payments are to be made only electronically, via debit or credit card, by accessing the payment link via a secured connection, on each participant’s personal page, in the AMIS App. Access to the payment form is granted to registered users only, after logging in. Enter the AMIS App in order to register. Those who want to attend the conference need to register for the conference (see the “Submission procedure” page, in the “Authors” menu).

When the payment is complete, the corresponding invoice will be available for saving and printing in the AMIS App, after logging in as author.

Those who want to attend the conference need to register for it, before the registration deadline (see here), via a dedicated link that will be posted on the conference website and disseminated to AMIS contributors. Attendance without paper presentation is encouraged, but interested participants also need to register by using the registration link posted onto the conference website.

Disclaimer: Intending participants requiring visas are strongly encouraged to submit papers for the conference and wait for confirmation of acceptance before making any payments. Romanian authorities are more open to give such visas to the extent the participant has a paper accepted. However, considering last years' experience, sometimes this is not enough. The AMIS organizing committee can only make reasonable diligence to assist foreign participants to obtain a visa, strictly referring to offering officially-signed and stamped acceptance letters (endorsement letters). AMIS organizing committee cannot be held responsible in case papers are accepted and/or intending participants make early payments but are not awarded visas. No-shows at the conference will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
